For example, the web enrollment application uses these certificates to manage the certificate requests with the CA. ▪Įnrollment Agent Certificates derived from this template are used to request and issue other certificates from the enterprise CA on behalf of another entity. EFS Recovery Agent certificates should be a part of any disaster recovery plan when designing an EFS implementation. ▪ĮFS Recovery Agent Certificates of this type allow files that have been encrypted with the EFS to be decrypted so that the files can be used again.
